In a new video shared by OncLive.com, Daniel Hayes, M.D., Emeritus Professor, University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center, discusses the results of trials involving the use of anti-estrogen therapy for more than five years for breast cancer patients.
"We now have substantial data - at least four trials - to suggest that as long as you keep giving anti-estrogen therapy, it continues to suppress the risk of those late recurrences coming back," says Hayes.
